Panchdashi – Volume 1

The author of Panchdashi is Muni Vidyaranya, whose knowledge of Vedant is parallel to that of Shri Shankaracharya. The work, in Sanskrit verses, contains fifteen prakaran, or chapters, which are presented here in three volumes. The value of this work is that if one hears it from his Guru and understands the meaning, there remains no doubt about his realization. Since this work is meant for a fully matured intellect, it appears to be difficult; but for a person of rational mind, Panchdashi is unique among all the works produced so far.
